The Private Coastal Lands Fund supported civil society organizations in charge of private lands and Voluntary Conservation Areas with the payment of taxes, such as property taxes. This measure makes it possible to implement plans to manage these spaces and carry out ecosystem conservation and restoration activities in strategic areas in the states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Nayarit, and Sinaloa, as well as reducing the risk of land-use change in these areas with such significant environmental relevance.
