Based on the accomplishments and lessons learned throughout the 20 years of the Watersheds and Cities project, FMCN and the United Nations Environment Program designed the City Adapt, which will focus on eight to ten cities in Mexico to contribute to the reduction of water stress and vulnerability to extreme hydrometeorological phenomena, the integration of green-gray infrastructure, and the strengthening of technical and financial capacities. We hope to have resources from the Green Climate Fund and implement the project between 2023 and 2028.
